Der Anschlag für die Platten wird nach der Schnur ausgerichtet. Die Leimpresse besteht aus einem kräftigen Balken und eine gebogenen Planke, die mit Zellgummi belegt sind. Dazwischen kommt eine Schutzfolie.

The stop for the plates are aligned with the line. The size press consists of a strong beam and a bent plank, which are covered with foam rubber. In between is a protective film.

So kann man die "Tischtennisplatte" umdrehen, wenn die Arme zu kurz sind.

So you can turn around the "table tennis" when the arms are too short.

Die Abwicklung wurde von dem Programm Delftship berechnet. Die Schnittpunkte werden auf das 50 cm Gitternetz übertragen und mit der Straklatte verbunden. Mit der Kreissäge werden die Platten dann paarweise sorgfältig ausgeschnitten. Der Verschnitt reichte noch für den laminierten Kiel und für Verstärkungslatten

The development was calculated by the program Delftship. The intersections are transferred to the 50 cm grid and connected to the spline. With a circular saw, the plates then carefully cut out in pairs. The waste enough yet for the laminated keel and reinforcing battens.

Setting up

Die 12x16 cm Balken als Helling sind ausgerichtet und provisorisch montiert. Darauf werden die Spanten aufgestellt und ausgerichtet mit Schnur und Wasserwaage.

The 12x16 cm beams as slipway are aligned and temporarily mounted. Then the ribs are placed and aligned with cord and water-level.

Mein Spezialhobel für Schmiegen: Der Knauf wurde abgeschraubt und ein Arm montiert, der den Hobel im richtigen Winkel hält. Der Winkel zwischen Hobel und Arm ist etwas kleiner als 180 Grad. Die Ecken werden vorher ausgestochen.

My special plane for bevel: The knob was unscrewed and mounted an arm, which keeps the plane at the proper angle. The angle between the plane and the arm is slightly less than 180 degrees. The corners are cut out before.

Der Kiel besteht aus drei und die Kniee aus zwei Lagen 15 mm Sperrholz. Diese werden mit 10 mm Schrauben verbolzt.

The keel consists of three and the knees of two layers of 15mm plywood. These are bolted together with 10mm screws

Als nächstes werden Spanten und Kiel für die Bodenplanken vorbereitet. Dabei wird entlang der ebenen Linien gehobelt. Was das ist und wie man diese Scheitellinien findet wird im Werkstattbericht beschrieben

Die Schmiege wird mit einer Latte kontrolliert. Mit einer Mischung aus Graphitpulver und Holzöl ist eine Seite der Latte bestrichen und wird so wie ein riesiger Bleistift benutzt.

The bevel is controlled with a batten. With a mixture of graphite powder and wood oil is coated one side of the batten and thus like a giant pencil used.

Der letzte Blick

The last Look

Letzter Blick auf die Bodenkonstruktion. Kimmstringer 2 x 50/50 mm Lärche Kiel 3 x 15 mm Sperrholz Latten 2 x 15 mm Sperrholz Kniee 40 mm Lärche Die Latten werden von innen verschraubt. Achtern sind zwei Kniee schräg eingesetzt, um Platz für den Saildrive zu haben.

Beplankung

Planking

Die Bodenplanke wiegt über 100 kg Hau ruck!

The floor plank weighs about 200 pounds. Heave ho!

Der Sitz für den Balkweger wird entlang der aufge- schraubten Straklatte mit der Kreissäge geschnitten

The seat of for the sheer clamp is cut with a circular saw along the screwed on spline.

Das Harz wartet nicht! Deswegen sind die Schrauben schon vor dem Verleimen am Platz. Zwei 12 cm Nägel halten die Planke am Platz. Das Abkleben spart eine Menge Schleiferei um die Epoxitränen zu entfernen. Der zusätzliche Stringer ist die Verstärkung für eine zweite Scheuerleiste.

The resin will not wait! Therefore, the screws are already in place before gluing. Two 5'' nails hold the plank in place. Masking saves a lot of sanding to remove epoxy-tears. The additional stringer is the gain for a second fender rail.

Keel

Zum Bau des Kiels habe ich mir diesen praktischen selbstnivellierenden Kreuzlinienlaser gekauft. Auf dem Bild hilft er beim senkrechten Bohren der Bolzenlöcher. Preis unter 50 €

For the construction of the keel, I bought this handy self-leveling cross line laser. In the picture, it helps with vertical drilling the bolt holes. Price below 50 €
